Adaptating Joseph Conrad's works

At the request of the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, submitted by the UNESCO Polish Commission, and supported by the National Commission of the United Kingdom, the 150th anniversary of Joseph Conrad-Korzeniowski's birthday was included in the schedule of UNESCO anniversaries in the year 2007.

Within the framework of the forthcoming Year of Joseph Conrad, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute issued a publication about the writer’s associations with film.
